COCA-COLA FOOD FEST RETURNS TO LUSAKA WITH BIGGER CELEBRATION ON AFRICA DAY

Coca-Cola Zambia has officially announced the second annual Coca-Cola Food Fest, scheduled to take place on Africa Day, May 25, 2024.

The event will be held at the Polo Field at the Show Ground in Lusaka, promising attendees a day brimming with delectable food, lively music, and engaging family-friendly activities.

Building on the success of last year’s inaugural festival, Coca-Cola is set to deliver an even grander celebration this year.

The Coca-Cola Food Fest Zambia is set to showcase over 30 food vendors, an international music artist, top local talents, renowned DJs, and dedicated zones for children along with captivating photo opportunities.

Headlining the event will be Daliwonga Matiwane, a rising star in the South African Amapiano music scene, known for his soulful vocals and popular albums like “Chameleon” and “Uyang’testa”. Daliwonga’s performance, scheduled to close the event at 10 pm, will be the highlight of the day that kicks off at 11 am, promising an eagerly awaited experience for attendees.

In addition to Daliwonga, the event will feature supporting musical acts including Bloodkid YVK, Y Celeb, Xaven the Kopala Queen, Jae Cash, and a lineup of DJs comprising DJ Twizzie, Sebastian Dutch, DJ My Boyfriend, Ms Selfie, and DJ Rhys.

Coca-Cola Senior Frontline marketing Manager- Zambia Faith Nehanda said this diverse musical lineup ensures a vibrant and entertaining atmosphere throughout the day for all attendees to enjoy.
